Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in requiring a new booking fee if your appointment has to be rescheduled due to improper pre-care. Both pre-care and aftercare are imperative to your healed results.
EYEBROW PRE-CARE
Do not use AHA/BHA skincare products on the face for at least 3 weeks prior to and 3 weeks after your procedure. These are active ingredients used in skincare formulations meant to address skin concerns such as general texture, dark spots, acne, fine lines, pores, melasma, fighting free-radical damage, & more. These ingredients are amazing for targeting specific areas but unfortunately very detrimental to your cosmetic tattoo during the application AND in the healing process.
To ensure the best possible healed results and avoid any confusion, below is a full list of AHA/BHA ingredients to discontinue leading up to your appointment:
salicylic acid
malic acid
vitamin-A (retinol derivative)
L-ascorbic acid (potent form of vitamin C)
glycolic acid
malic acid
beta-hydroxybutanoic acid
tropic acid
trethocanic acid
tartaric acid
lactic Acid
Retin - A (discontinue 30 days prior to appointment)
Do not work out the day of you appointment.
No alcohol 24 hours before procedure.
No caffeine the day of the appointment.
Avoid sun and tanning at least two weeks prior to procedure.
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.
No fish oil (natural anticoagulant) within 1 week of your appointment.

No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion within two weeks of appointment. Your existing brow hair will be groomed & shaped at your appointment during the eyebrow mapping / pre-draw process.
No chemical peels or laser treatments within 4 weeks of procedure and 4 weeks after.
If you would like your artist to see how you typically fill in your eyebrows, you may come with brow makeup on as long as it isn’t a heavy product that is difficult to remove. Light makeup in general is ok, we just please ask that you do not come with heavy makeup as the area needs to be cleaned and 100% disinfected. The reason being that if the artist has to use a ton of alcohol to get your makeup off the area it will irritate the skin before we even start, which is not ideal.
Please Note: You may be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
